Outlast journal part 5
Spoilers for female ward section
-bro not even 5 minutes in and the lightning has scared the crap out of me. It wasn’t that scary bruhhh I’m going mad
-oh this section is so cool with the leaves and crap, I feel like there’s things following me rn. Like I see a leaf and think it’s a face.
-I feel like Miles is going to be sacrificed by this cult or something
-bruh tf??????? Tf!!?!?!? Was that a ghost or something??? Ok either miles is actually going insane which honestly don’t blame him, or this game is a bit more supernatural than I thought. Which isn’t a bad thing at all, I was just thinking however the main horrific thing of Outlast was this was all caused by humans. Still cool tho. Also probably insanity too.
-I’m curious to learn more about this lore, espically since it might involve lucid dreams. More and more of my fav tropes keep appearing unexpectedly in this game
-I’m so lost I’m so lost cheese grater go away
-I’m so low on batteries crap crap
-oooooh wait that must be Walrider. God damn Walrider is literally one of the coolest names for an entity demon thing.
-and ahhhh there it is again ok that scared the crap out of me. Also wtf that static texture inside it is so cool
-ooooo and now Miles is starting to loose his sanityyyyy~ this might sound dark but it’s always such a cool character trope when done right, I love it. He’s starting to talk like the patients here, about static inside his skin and having an itch. We’re going psychological horror now and I am SO HERE for it.
-hey I just remembered about that screaming tv, that was weird foreshadowing for this I think lmao.
-love how this priest keeps making paths of blood and everything yet refuses to do things that would actually help like making it’s easy for Miles to follow him.
-so when was this game going to tell me I WAS COLLECTING FUSES?? I didn’t realize until the 2nd one I quickly grabbed, I thought they were batteries what the hell.
-it’s literally impossible to run away from this dude aaaaaghhhh why must you be here. Wannabe Gordon Freeman with his crowbar.
-oh of course they hide the last fuse in an easy to overlook window of courseeeeeee
-yes got the fuses
-and then I get chased by the psycho so I don’t see that this stupid key fell down and I thought miles just auto grabbed it god damn it I need a break
-oh and then while grabbing this key downstairs a NEW BLOODY PYSCHO WHO CAME OUT OF NOWHERE STARTS CHASING ME HERE TOO LET ME LIVEEEEEE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH
-I survived, ok and I’m calling it quits let’s get some info dumping done tomorrow night. Man I cannot tell if I’m close to the end anymore wtf is going on. I suck at stealth in games but alas I love horror so I must stick thru. Besides it’s still fun even tho I’m strugglingNov 30, 2022
