Witch and her ravenThe first thing that came to my mind are corvids, specifically crows and ravens. These birds are always somehow involved with every morbid superstition there is. Probably due to the fact that they have dark feathers and are often seen around remains of other animals, eating whatever is left. They are therefore associated with death and are said to be an ill omen for the most part. In many countries and traditions they are seen as harbingers of death and misfortune. People also associate them with witches and even the devil himself. Here is where you can find some of these myths and superstitions: http://kateevangelistarandr.blogspot.com/2010/10/superstitions-connected-to-ravens.html?m=1
What I found very interesting though is that it is widely believed that some corvids, mostly ravens, crows and magpies, have a particular tendency to steal shiny objects and collect them. Anecdotes appear every now and then about keys or coins getting stolen by a rogue magpie or a crow. So a harbinger of misfortune might as well bring you some fortune if you treat them right :)

This is amazing! I've heard very often about this and the crows actually symbolize sadness and grief in my culture too. I also love the colors you have used tysm for participating 💖
