The Hurt Behind My Heart

The meaning of this piece of art is very similar to my last post. For context, this school year is my first year of highschool, (so I'm a freshman sarcastic yay) and it has been extremely rough social wise. One person in particular has made it really rough me so I wanted to express my thoughts and feelings through this.

The white heart on wings in the middle represents a smile everyone sees from the outside. The heart lays in front of a black background that is covered with hard words describing what you might feel inside, (and how I felt) and why you might feel like that, for example gossip or rumors. The words are written with a semi shiny black marker so they are hard to see when you are looking at the front of the piece but are visible when you try to see them.

This piece altogether represents how a person might look pretty and happy on the outside but they are torn and devastated on the inside, and you can only notice that if you really try to pay attention. This is a topic very close to my heart so please be kind to those around you because you never know what they are going through and take time to care for yourself too. Lots of love
