Day 2: How to talk to your monster
You don’t need to talk to me differently. No matter what, I will still be there, if you accept me. We are opposites and yet the same, in a way. They took you from me and somehow blamed me for it. So I had no other choice. I cursed myself and accepted it. Made most of it and even enjoyed it.
I love being a monster.
I love being feared.
I love hunting instead of being hunted.
And then, it happened.
I didn’t know.
That you were still here.
Among those who I hated the most.
I cannot kill you. You cannot kill me. We are immortals in a world where time is meaningless and the night is eternal. We are supposed to hate each other, but in the end I cannot stop from loving you, deeply. Like I did, once upon a lifetime.
If only you talked to me again, like you used to before the death and the curse and the eternal night.
