Which free drawing apps for Android device do you recommend?
I currently have Autodesk Sketchbook and I really like how easy it is to access layers, color palettes, and brushes. However, it lacks a variety of brushes, liquefy, and variety of blend modes for layers.May 18, 2023

I know it's a bit early for me to start recommending it since I just started working on it, but I think HiPaint is worth checking out. I heard it's basically Procreate's copy but with a few differences and missing stuff. So far I'm enjoying it. It has some nice brushes that you can use for sketching, lineart, and even on the eraser. You can also create your own brushes with your own textures.

•I prefer Ibispaint over Autodesk for that reason! It has liquify and different layer modes! It does lack in brushes because most are pay for, but I get by, because I don't really need more brushes
You should try it out and see if it's for you! ;3

•Infinite painter is technically Free. It limits a lot of tools, but all the brushes are free. U could also just buy it. Costs a one time payment of ten dollars. I really like it.

•Medibang and Ibis equally.
Medibang is good if you like drawing at a higher line stability and smoother looking lineart (<- last part is purely imo). But Ibis is definitely better when it comes to your choice of brushes and, unlike medibang, actually has a decent symmetry tool LMAO.

•Only app I know that os free for android is just sketchbook, but you already know that

I highly highly recommend Ibis paint x app. It is very resourceful and comes with many features for free
•
•I use Infinite Painter, Tayasui Sketches (Pro version), ArtFlow, Sketchbook, Sculpt+, MediBang Paint, sometimes IBIS Paint, and HiPaint.
•
•I use ArtFlow Studio (the paid version is not expensive) and sometimes I use Ibis Paint, with the SonarPen (a stylus that uses the audio jack for pressure sensitivity) which is compatible with these drawings apps. My latest drawings are made with them.
•
•Medibang Paint Pro is very good!
Of course, have some brushes you "need to pay" but the main features are there and it's very useful!
When my computer died, I drew in my phone with it and got very decent results (。・ω・。)ノ♡
