wee experiment
erm i know i talked about my forgotten drawtober piece in the text post, but this is not it! lol. i was basically doing some experimentation with my art style n process.- i had did a slight art study for dungeon meshi and really liked the way they did ears. so i put it in this piece
- the eyes... a combination of my old art style, this pseudo-anime style i see some folks do, and the pretty, colorful art i sometimes see where the eyes are like a kaleidoscope. idk how to do all that yet tho so i kept it simple with pink and a touch of purple
- the actual coloring!! yo, i did all my colors on one layer
actually really fun and i felt like a painter tehee - also tried to keep in mind how some folks paint skin. Ive been studying some different painterly digital pieces and seeing how they do their highlights n stuff cause i havent been liking the way ive been doing it lately. my highlights and blushes have been feeling off (p much none of these are posted tho so yall wont know what im talking about heh)
- the background is basically what i do in my sketchbook, but like never do in digital art? god i struggled trying to find something to put in the background but all the colors and brushes i tried to use before were just... wrong. and then i remembered this simple lil scratchy scratch i could do and was sold hahaFeb 20, 2024
