Glow upMy oc Moon in a different outfit and hairstyle! I like to think of this as her fancy attire, haha! A long time ago I drew my oc Moon in this dress and this is a redraw. Sadly I can't show the old one, rip. For the new drawing I wanted to add my Symbiote oc Savage.
I mainly tried to focus on coloring and shading because shading always gave me big problems. Also clothes and folding! These are hard for me too so I hope I managed to make it look nice. Something I struggle back and forth with aswell, is to make the ice spikes actually look like ice. If you have any advice on improvements at all, feel free to tell me!Apr 25, 2021

Yeah I struggle with skirt and dress folds too! My tip for clothes is to sketch in the whole body first and then draw the clothes on top of the body, even if they are wearing a long dress! Knowing where the legs are will help you know where to place the folds. I recommend setting up some cloth and drawing studies of them to learn how folds work.
