Ryleigh - Cthulhu, The [Great] Old One

They are named after the lost, underwater city of R’lyeh where Cthulhu is said to lay in a deathlike slumber. The “markings” above and below their main eye set are their closed eyes, so they’re actually not fully awake; the second they wake up, it initiates the end of the world.

I am using this concept in an oc world concept my friend is making, which combines Stardew with eldritch/eerie undertones and huntings. Ranging from “odd” harvested plants to shadows roaming in the fog, a sleeping Ryleigh at the bottom of the town’s ocean is only one of the mysteries of the town.
