HueJuly 2020 - Day 1: Dagger
So since I participate annually in Inktober, I never really have the motivation to do Huevember right after, so this July I decided to do the challenge at my own pace. The whole thing stretched out into early September, but I got all of them done, which was the important part. I posted them on IG in groups of five, but I decided that I could post them as unique pieces and talk a bit about each character and the piece here.Dagger is a consort for the Lady of Yellow Rin, however, despite the title, their relationship is that of a son and a mother. In Dagger's youth, his parents met an untimely end at the hands of the mysterious Tomebreakers, and if not for Rin, Dagger would've been lost in the same encounter. Dagger has selective mutism, but he can talk with Rin without any issues. His back is permanently stained with yellow from having to ingest Rin's blood to heal his spine.Sep 21, 2020
