Whoa! What an incredible drawing! First of all, this is a bold angle - almost directly overhead! I don't see too many pieces takle this kind of angle, and I think that you captured it amazingly~ It even has a sort of "fish eye" effect going on, which I think is really cool
Of course, we have our main man, The Bard, just strumming along in his crow's nest I like that he has a lot of small cushions up there - I suppose his job is not only to serve as lookout, but also boost morale, hence why he was able to bring so much comfort up there; I like his patchwork of colorful clothes, filled with interesting shapes! He must be a whimsical man: from the puffed up mint sleeves to his thin, red socks, to the wide "rings" on his ankles, the traditional poncho draped over his shoulders, and of course, the lagre, oversized toadstool hat he bears with the Yankee Doodle feather billowing in the wind He has such an incredible design~
The other characters below have cool designs as well~ We have an old sailor at the bottom smoking his pipe, a simple crewman mopping away, and there's even the salty squid captain in the back with his beard of expeience! And the ship is surrounded by seagulls... so... many... seagulls- Though it seems that the cuttlefish crewman did a great job at mopping up after them
The surface textures are STUNNING! Just look at the wooden planks on the ship! The barrels and crates The lines on the sails! I even see a couple of patches there And even a few minor chips in the ship's wood. The faint shadows are also a lovely touch And even the rocks in the water have excellent lineart Finally, I just want to say that the patch of sunlight making the water glisten in the top right corner is top notch
