You could decorate your door to be mysterious with a candy bowl outside also just used a customize glove to reach out the visitor without doing much dress up

I dress up to hand out the candy. With social distancing last year we made a little slide for the candy to go down to a basket and the kids loved it. Dressing up is fun even when you are older! I have never missed a halloween costume yet going 26 years strong!!
