Question for minors doing commissions: how?
I’m still a minor and I’ve wanted to start commissions for the past like 3 years and I still don’t know how to get started with the money aspect. not pricing my art or anything but how do I receive payment and what service can I, under 18, can use to accept payment?
I already have my terms and conditions and prices n stuff set up, I just need to advertise myself and find out how to do the money partJan 1, 2022

You would need your parent’s permission if you want to do it online thorough something like PatPal.

You're under 18 therefore can't have a PayPal or similar services bc they can be tied to credit and misuse of and risk liability that you can't be legally responsible for. It falls on the responsibility of the 0arent. The only way is to get a parent to handle the money side via their personal bank account with a similar service to take the risks for you or wait until you're 18. You can always try commission's for cash or check irl, or gift art. Selling tangible goods and making your own shop irl is actually a great learning experience.

I'm not sure if the commission community in Amino still works. But, I remember opening my commission there and exchanging AC coins as payment.

Idk how deviantart works properly but im sure they have points that are worth real currency, and I think you can use those

It’s virtually impossible via online unless you want to exchange for gift cards, which is incredibly risky
