The sorcerer and the snake
Chinese period piece
Storm, dark (screen is barely visible bro), lightning, no rain (yet)
Two characters (a monk and?) open a door to a different dimension
Snow in new dimension (blizzard)
Monk = master and student
Ice/glaciers in distance (exposition shot)
“Then you’re already under her spell” seems like this place is illusory?
The GREEN SCREEN
A battle to be won between monks and “her?”
The student must be the sorcerer!
An ice harpy appears atop a glacier/mountain in red (warped space/time effect)
Sorcerer is impatient/eager to fight despite master’s warning
Sorcerer is frozen by ice harpy... is he even the sorcerer?
“You’re no match for her!”

Beautiful, seductress, enchantress, sinful, blames victims for walking into her trap rather than her own actions; killed them when they fell out of love with her

The transitions between her lines, she’s flying in the air, a hollow laugh, the editing is so sad

Staff vs. it looks like one of those long spear swords... a swordstaff of ice
The ice breaks apart with her strike
THE EFFECTS FHIADFHJKAHFKJDALFKCGI
She evaporates into smoke and ice, hurls the ice at the monk who melts it with flames

Monk sucks her up into a bowl, trapping her. Confine her in the Lei Feng Pagoda
A door opens out of the dimension, a bell rings
Jin Shan Temple (titlecard), a temple with a pagoda atop mountains
Inside, monks are mediating in white robes (crowd)
A monk taps lightly on a COMICALLY GIANT wooden fish
Lei Feng Pagoda (titlecard) a towering pagoda ontop of a mountain
Inside the walls are muraled. The sorcerer climbs the steps. The room is dark save for the light from the exit ahead
Blend cut/invisible cut?
On one of the landings is a mirror? Portal? Filled with monsters that attempt to scare the sorcerer. His master trapped them there.
The demons are trapped there, given a chance to reflect and improve in meditation rather than killed
The sorcerers mumbles mantras and the ice harpy is sucked into the portal/mirror
Taoist? Buddhist?

Through mountains (op credits) similar to a painting. Are these important settings for later
Yes- atop one of the mountains is a waterfall and a forest, and deeper in the forest...

Snake lady. White snake lady, but she’s like, a mermaid with the bottom half of a snake, which is fine
Except the way she’s moving, she’s like flying? Like she looks like she’s swimming but she’s flying in the air. This defies logic. Most Wuxia do.
