Secret Santa Art Trade 2024!!CLOSED for new participants!!
Hello hello! I’m hosting a secret santa art trade this year (taking inspiration from @Taalhem_art and @orchidflamingo’s challenges the last couple years!)
For those of you who don’t know what this is, it’s basically a large scale (hopefully) art trade where you get randomly assigned someone’s character to draw. The drawings are not themed around Christmas, it’s just a yearly excuse for us to have this big trade :)
How to enter/how it’ll work:
-Submit an image of the character you would like drawn to this challenge (please submit it to the challenge, do not just comment!) Submissions will be due by December 9th!!
-On December 9th-10th I will message you with the artist for whom you’ll be drawing, you’ll also be told who will be drawing your character. I’ll likely also upload a list of who is drawing for who
-Your drawing for another artist would preferably be due by the end of December, but since this is starting later than the last couple years, it will be due by the end of January. (Due date is so no one is left hanging for a long time on receiving their drawing)
Rules/other details:
-Only one character submitted per person
-No NSFW or heavy gore
-If you are not comfortable drawing certain types of characters, please write it in your submission to the challenge, or message me before the deadline
-Please tag me (@liliez) when you post your drawing!! I will be resharing all of them
-When you post the drawing of another artist’s character, tag them and credit them for the character
-Please tag your art #SecretSantaArtTrade2024 when you post the drawing for the other artist!!
-Please do not leave the artist you are drawing for waiting longer than you have to!! It’s understandable that life happens, and art takes time, so communicate with me and/or the artist you are drawing for if there are complications.
-The artist drawing for you and the artist you are drawing for will not be the same person
Please don’t hesitate to reach out with me (either through the comments or a private message) with questions, or if you need an extension!! I would also recommend you follow me, even if just temporarily, for any updates (however it’s not required)
I don’t know how many people I’ll get, but I’m going to try! It’d help a lot if you share this challenge, to spread it around :) The more the merrier, but if we just get a few that’s fine too!! Have fun drawing!
