Demon King Cover 10
Now for some DEMON KING stuff.Demon King is the semi-anime, semi-Lovecraft, inspired webcomic I've been doing for the past 8 years or so. You can find it on Tapas, ComicFury and at demonkingwebcomic.com
It's the story of Aya Chihiko, a normal high school student, and Toru Akujin, a very abnormal high school student. Because you see, Toru comes from a long family of exorcists...and is also one quarter demon himself. The Akujins are in a fight with the evil Demon King, a secretive wizard who summons demons to bring Hell on Earth.
I do the covers as markers for the little arcs within the comic. This cover is an homage to the German poster for The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, which was a mega influence on Toru's design. The posing is a bit creepy, but in actuality Toru and Aya are really good friends, possibly more...Nov 11, 2022
