for me? nah. i already hate pineapple as it is, putting it on pizza just made it worse imo.

No, pizza is a salty dish that can only combine with salty or neutral ingredients (and not all of them), so pineapple definitely doesn't belong there because it is sweet. In Italy we have very rare soursweet dishes, and pizza is not one of them. We mostly eat salty first and then sweet (fruits as well as pastries) as a dessert. We don't usually mix them. Also, if you put pineapple on pizza, it only tastes like pineapple, so it's a wastw of pizza. At that point could just eat plain pineapple and it would taste the same, what's the point of having untastable pizza with it
