The Chimera"The creatures that lurks deep inside the great forest and Níma's greatest fear.
Nobody knows where their hide is, though they are only found near the ruins of what used to be the metropolis of the old civilization long before the fall of the course that created the great forest."
The same way as my other piece featuring Níma holding her spear, this is part of a much bigger illustration project. Also this fellow here is but just a sample of what the chimera usually looks like. There are many kinds of chimera with looks based on different extinct animals but they always have a humanoid body structure.
This chimera here is part miacidae, a small arboreal predator from eons ago that is believed to be the ancestor of all "bean" pawed predators such as felines, canines and bears. Though the chimera version is a gazilion times bigger than the miacidae.
