Juwan Halloween COstumeI finally finished my late Halloween artwork of my ppulbatu O.C. persona, Juwan — and it’s also my first full piece made with my new graphics tablet!
So far, the tablet feels really comfortable and practical for its size. I didn’t struggle at all with getting used to it or figuring out how to position it. Honestly, I think a small tablet works better for me than medium or large ones. I used to prefer medium sizes because smaller surfaces felt limiting, but this one just feels right.
At least now I have something truly useful for the projects I want to start — not just illustrations, but other creative ideas I’ve been planning to bring to life.
And yes, I drew the entire background myself, not just the character. No tracing at all — fully freehand while using ppulbatu references so everything would match my style and blend naturally.Jan 11, 2026
