new nex next to old nexcracks knuckles me and my old ass ocs are gonna have a fun time

nex is my childhood oc that i still use today, he originally was made 2016? 2017? but this design (2018) is the design i used for a few good years. 2020 he had his first alt-human design, then finally 2022 made the leap into more of a centaur-esk dragon depiction

nex's design throughout the years definitely reflected my development on drawing human faces/ people in general. past me would be a object head FREAKAZOID!!! mainly because i had no skill nor confidence drawing people. (though it was fun!)
as i leaned more and more to human ocs, nex's design grew more human too.
not lore based or anything, but i do think its a neat reflection ^__^

he was kind of my semi-persona semi-oc guy in my early teens, so i tacked on my passion of art onto him. he had this power of being able to manifest things he drew-- great ik
with the current design/ lore nex is more of the god of life, not the same power, but still keeping that kind of creation aspect with him, now more godly? beyond?

literally the only reason he is a god in my lore is cause hes old asf. he earned it throughout the hardships of my art journey loll

That’s interesting how his ability to bring life to creations developed along side you both - I think it’s a very sweet character!! And that’s so cool to see the changes he went through!
