its a little bit sad to see that so many girls have issues with female characters like... man
i have a lotta female writer friends and a solid half of them hate writing girl characters because they feel like they cant express themselves through a female narrator or because female characters are bland or hard to write or because they can't help but stereotype them or whatever and like idk just the way women and girls feels about themselves in regard to their gender is sorta heartbreaking. and how male protagonist books/media dont typically have a target gender audience and are more relatable but female protagonist books/media AREN'T relatable and just... idk. like girls ARE complex and cool and dynamic and diverse!! just because society has told us over and over again that we arent doesnt mean thats true :(
