I just... always drew. When I got more serious though, it was because I wanted to draw the characters from a book series I loved at the time.
I was bored
Nothing too deep. I had an innate talent when I was young and I spun that talent into making comics. Now I find myself playing catchup with my peers so that my art can be strong enough to be put on shelves one day
I wanted to make cartoons when I was a lass.
Had these little flashcards to try and make frames out of them.
these books called “bad kitty” that i was obsessed with in elementary school basically kickstarted my art ‘career’.

i drew the main character, kitty, a LOT until i started to draw my own characters, and the years went on and my skills developed etc etc
Insta artists, my dumbass 12 yr old self thought that I could definitely draw better than someone with years of digital art experience

Obviously it didn’t turn out in my favor lmao but my huge ego would not accept defeat and that’s how I started drawing more frequently
