They’re simple and bring in color in an otherwise plain background (which is usually good—there are exceptions). With your landscape bgs, they’re also simple so some complexity might be nice (it’s good practice too), but the focus is on your characters, so ultimately it doesn’t matter if you have a simple or detailed bg
