Commenting on my own post. I really love the authors italo calvino and terry pratchett. I’ll start with italo Calvino. He is best known for invisible cities (which i have yet to read) but i first read his work in my favorite book If On A Winter’s Night A Traveler. If on a winters night a traveler is written in second person with short stories spliced between. Basically you go to the bookstore to buy italo Calvino’s newest book if on a winters night a traveler. You go home and read it (a chapter follows of the actual story) but just as you’re getting really invested there’s a printing error; you go back to the bookstore and the man at the counter tells you there was an error at the factory and the book you were reading might not even be if on a winters night a traveler, but outside the town of malbork by a polish author. You just want to know what happens next so you get this malbork book. So begins a story or you traveling the world but cursed never to be able to read past the first chapter of any book; it discusses philosophy of truth in literature and death and is my favorite book. I have also read some else of his work. such as the cloven viscount, a story about a viscount that goes to war and is cut in half, he somehow survives but it’s the bad half that comes back; It’s really a story about childhood.
That was a long first of two parts. Next i will talk of my favorite author and book series. Terry pratchett and discworld respectively. Discworld is a 41 book series about a world that is in the shape of a disc held up by four continent sized elephants who are themselves on top of an enormous turtle. It is categorized as comedy fantasy and is amazing. When i say 41 books a lot of people are probably intimidated. But you don’t need to read them in order, think of them as the books taking place in the discworld universe. It seems i have run out of room, i will continue with a reply.

•Lately I've been a bit obsessed with classic literature, I just read sun tzus art of war and 20,000 leagues under the sea and 100 years of solitude are next on my roster. I loved Frankenstein which I read about 4 years ago and revisited recently

But also started to read real books and liking it. Non-fiction.I like graphic novels and comics (they are the same thing in my country and culture. I prefer one-shots) a lot. The drawings strategically disposed in the cases (or without cases sometimes) can do so much magic! If used well it is a powerful narration technique, and yet it's so simple, just a few scribbles on a piece of paper might be enough to tell the most epic story! There are endless possibilities, I love how powerful and flexible communication comics have. If you add a cool well-written story and a beautiful drawing style, it's just perfect

As you can tell from my profile, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is a longtime hyperfixation of mine. The story, art, and characters all find a way to be super compelling. It may look weird at first glance, especially if one is only familiar with the series through unfunny memes, but actually watching/reading it is a wild ride that gets better and better with each part. The Garo franchise I'm kinda back and forth on hyperfixation-wise as of late, with my interest waning due to not having a new installment since 2020. Get that Vanishing Line movie sequel off the ground and that's when I'll regain interest.

Geography.
I studied Geography for four years, graduated and got my Tourism profession but during those days, I didn't really care for Geography in a deeper level.
Ever since graduation, my obsession for Geography grew, my dumbass knows too many useless facts, my youtube feed is basically just Geography videos, I play Geotastic (free geoguessr basically) religiously, and I can figure out which country i am in in literal seconds.
My boyfriend and I usually play together and we both mastered that game.
Geography is just such an interesting thing, something my young self never would have thought I'd ever like (I used to hate Geography).
Geography has become a part of my life. I am Geography.

Right now I'm really into Percy Jackson again because I'm reading the new book set in that universe, The Sun and the Star, WHICH IS ENTIRELY ABOUT MY FAVOURITE CHARACTER :DDDD I love the way these books are written, I used to not like reading until I read the first Percy Jackson book and fell in love with it. Now reading is something I enjoy again.
Another book series I really love is Six of Crows, set in the same universe as Shadow and Bone, and I just love the worldbuilding (it's like a 1900s fantasy with the main places based on Russia, the Netherlands and Scandinavia) and the characters and their relationships. The stories are so investing and I loved reading all of them. My friend told me to read Six of Crows two years ago and together with Percy Jackson (and all other books by Rick Riordan about the Greek and Roman halfbloods) it's my favourite book series
I have many drawing ideas for them too, especially SoC, but often not the motivation to draw
