I use a mac book pro for work, and it's fine. Nothing special tbh. If you have the money, eh, but you can get much better laptops for less.

Don't have one, but I've heard terrible things about them in general. I now people who own them, and I think they're better for typical work that doesn't have to be high speed. I'd recommend getting an iPad because they're cheaper and have real art programs on them.

I heard Macbooks aren’t good for literally anything, they die if you at it.
My mom has one & it always gave her extreme troubles with running, it can barely charge now (can’t exactly remember why, but I remember the reason was dumb, it’s got like a magnet to charge & the magnet just… stopped working or something like that???) so she doesn’t use it anymore other than a last resort for getting something to actually print on out fossilized printer.
In general, Apple products are of a poor quality, especially with how they are supposedly designed to break. I’ve got an IPhone, & even though my old one still works, it’s only good for being an alarm clock that’s 40 minutes early now. Can’t get any pictures off of it. Can’t email myself on it. It’s probably nearly braindead, to be honest.
Point is, I’d try to avoid using Apple if making art is important to you because I don’t think the risk of severe issues with the product is worth the money or your time.

They're not gonna magically make your art better but if you can afford it and want it, go for it. Although you'll need to buy a drawing tablet as well if you don't have one.

Had it since 2015 and it’s still good, albeit with some occasional moments of lag; expecting it to drop soon due to it’s age
