Some things I do:
-hot-water bottle or cherry pit pillow (warm not hot)
-compression glove
-stretches (the video @ejbricks shared is pretty good. I also like to add another stretch: using the pose in the beginning with one hand and pull your fingers towards you with the other, hold for 10 secs and then point your palm down and pull the back of your hand towards you just like before for 10 secs and repeat on the other hand.)
-rest (doesn’t mean stop using it)

I get wrist pains sometimes, and I got compression gloves for when that happens. I like using the gloves better than a brace because I can still move my hand freely. But if this is bigger than just minor pain, then yes, I would go with some of the other suggestions of using a brace or seeing a doctor if it's really bad.
Get well soon!

Henlo... I've been having carpal tunnel which is just the worst wrist pain gets aside from breaking it and it's the same old thing but it works- just rest and if it gets bad, get a brace and or see a doctor

Rest, wear a brace if it still hurts after a while and do some stretches I recommend this video for it https://youtu.be/qn7qUkydEHg

Personally speaking....don't move and use a brace. It needs to rest and for that to happen stabilisation. No writing, drawing, using the mouse or the the hand in general. The rest is rest.
