This drawing was for an art contest in my school.My town is a bit known for its history, especially during Roman antiquity. It is true that we easily find Roman remains, whether in the city or in the surroundings. The buildings such as the remains or the Cathedral reflect a history, a past unique to our city. That’s why the buildings are a big part of the cultural beauty of the city.
My highschool seemed to me to be perfect for this contest. Indeed, the topic is "Creation at the heart of the cultural beauty of the city". My school is a cultural building because of its beautiful architecture, in which the future of countless people is created through generations. My maternal grandfather, born in 1926, was a student at this school, like me since 2018. Proof that this building is transgenerational and part of the city's heritage.
What was stated earlier is reflected in the sketch, in the lower right corner, which is in progress. This represents the infinite possibilities of the institution, which changes little over time, but has had a profound impact on many students of different generations. Hence the question mark at the level of the portal which evokes the questions often faced by teens including: who am I? Once the portal has passed, once in high school, the teenager can then invent himself, write his future, his identity.Apr 30, 2021
