Edit profile>edit collections>create new collection>collection name>collection description (optional)>options>single or double collums>public or private>save.
Go to a post (your own or someone else's)>folder icon (collections)>plus icon (select a collection to add it to)>tap out of the pop up screen.
You can use for whatever you want. I have collections to separate art mediums, and will probably make one for challenges, and my favorite art by other people. If you make comics you could make a collection for each comic, or if you have OCs each OC could have a collection. There are many possibilities for what you could use them for.
