Liam was another one of their coworkers, but was an NPC played by the DM. He always remembered everyone's favourite type of coffee.And by next one, Gale meant the 'next life' since in their universe, reincarnation is most definitely a thing and they're aware of, though they wouldn't remember their prev life as usual. And it's not guaranteed that they'll be born back in the same timeline or era.
Living past 20 is more of a personal in-joke because so far my dead characters have all been,,,,,pretty young.
AND THATS IT. I'm actually gonna really miss this campaign. The setting was completely my jam and while it did get a little draggy at times cuz we weren't all the most smartest of characters (amazing how we run a detective agency) it was still really fun.Jul 5, 2021
