I think one beautiful aspect of art is that even as you evolve and grow, you can still see aspects of your old art styles in what you do now.
Like if I look at my own art, the way I draw eyes has changed visually. But at their core, they are built the same way. The way I used to draw eyes just looks like a rudimentary version of what I do now.
And I think that’s really poetic

it's funny whenever i see ppl talk abt this. i feel like i'm the only one who's art style hasn't changed in over half a decade. though maybe not changing much is an aspect of manga, since it's not usual to see mangaka change their art style.
