Night Sky or Clear Sky?
I’ve been sketching up a new canvas painting idea, but I’m a bit stuck on what kind of sky to go with :0So I thought I’d see if anyone had any thoughts!!
It’s a piece to go up in a shop space I’ve got. So I want it to be as eye catching as possible Σ(-᷅_-᷄๑)
The blue clear sky is cohesive and be very bright with reflected light. Buuuut the night sky is more dramatic and emphasises the action more. (≖_≖ )Jan 19, 2023

I also think having a clear contrast in values is much more readable + it ties into the dark plants in the foreground
BUT I also like the cool color/warm color contrast on its own...
Maybe just adding a tinge of darker blue to push the horizon just a bit further?

•The night sky makes the character much clearer to read for me - maybe if you change the colour to be a bit more saturated and closer to the other hues, it can feel as cohesive as the day version?
