DnD5e. Describing some of today's gameplay just for fun.
My character swore an oath to serve an information merchant as their loyal paladin for one day in the future in exchange for knowledge of an evil dragon's current whereabouts.
My iron vow is to slay the dragon and also make him pay back the money he stole from my character, River. I agree with the idea that good playable characters are like arrows, pointing directly to a main goal they'd risk it all for.
In the past, the dragon attempted to place River under permanent mind control, for years, so trading one day of servitude for a chance to end this danger is reasonable.May 21, 2024
