I deleted tiktok bc it was starting to really negatively affect me (i was getting random, intense bouts of anxiety, my feed was starting to grow more and more negative despite me interacting with positive media, ect.) And my brain is finally starting to get back to normal‼️Feb 2, 2024

I Recently deleted instagram a few weeks back because of this, stuff on there kept sending me into anxious spirals and it wasn’t good. I don’t regret it because I noticed I’m feeling better without it
The difference between Youtube and Tiktok is like night and day
Good idea. I deleted my Instagram. TikTok next but actually I just freeze it from times to time. Glad you're feeling better lately
( sorry I talk a lot I just want to help you cause I know what it feel like ;-; )
Of course the main advice is use social media less. I started using it as just a "way to spend a bit of freebie" rather than "being obliged to to stay on track with everything" and it helped a lot!
Had the exact kind of problem last year and I can help you: first, delete tiktok ( cause you don't really need it and it's overrated) and use pintrest. Pintrest is 100 percent positive ! Even if you look at like, hot girls and stuff, you won't feel down, cause you'll always find the thing that inspire you to be best of you !
2/ if you want to keep on trends, use reels of insta. They are toxic I know, but with normal insta posts, you can easily get a feed that you like. But don't use too much. The fact that you can look at normal posts puts you on a break of the reels.
3/ youtube videos are so much better than tiktoks. You watch a vid YOU chosen, and you finish it when you want, so it's good
