Here I am commenting hella late but I digress.
I quit Twitter moooonths ago, especially bc I had made a brand new Twitter account specifically for my art, same for Instagram, but later decided against it for these reasons and more. I believe artfol and probably Patreon/Kofi would really be the best places to post art, y'know? (Though I'm not sure I'm ready for a Patreon page just yet XD). And YouTube just isn't made for that. It's a video platform, and they legit hate artist fr. And oh god don't even consider TikTok.
It's really hard to be an artist online, especially considering the platforms we have available for us. Artfol just is the perfect place imo (plus, the community is so nice

I don't even touch Twitter anymore. It was rather nice at the beginning, but it's a cluster-f now. Sometimes the temptation to peak in comes because I still follow a few people there that I like, but no. I rather maintain some sanity.

•It really sucks. Twitter used to be the place I got the most attention and most of my sales but things have really changed lately and I don't like posting there anymore

•It's a mess. Woo. The web version of Twitter doesn't allow browsing without a username so I guess I'm stuck with the app because there is like precisely one artist I want to see.
