Where Rivers Flow
Why just think of a peaceful river running down a beautiful landscape? Why not imagining the river as a person or a personification? And why not show the bad side of the medal? Because let’s be honest: most rivers on this planet suffer from a lot of chemicals, trash and what-so-ever humankind is doing to them.At first I really thought of doing a beautiful, peaceful river scenery for August‘s #scrawlrchallenge but I quite quickly changed my mind to this a little bit darker approach.
The oil pastels gave me the freedom to go wild and experiment with my thoughts and feelings, so this ist what we got for the „Where Rivers Flow“ prompt. Not my usual kind of art, but this is what these boxes are all about: going out of your comfort zone and experimenting.
