Man, I'm never using PayPal again, ever. I got a payment for a commission only to find out I can't retire my money because they keep showing me a message saying "We can't figure out if it's you" since they keep demanding a verification code for any action I do on my account, which is problematic since I live in an area with poor signal, like, is not enough with my own password, they also demand extra info that takes forever to verify. Now I can't access and they only message in a blank page without an option of sending an email, message, just calling to a bot that offers no help.
Basically, PayPal, the site I've used and trusted for years for international transactions, stole my money.
It was only 10 bucks, but 10 bucks I needed.
If I ever get my money out, I'm deleting my account, after all this, there's now way I'm trusting on them again.Oct 2, 2025

Yep, run from ScamPal. Been hearing nothing but horror stories about them for well over a decade now - even from the company that I used to work for (even big companies aren't safe from PayPal's BS). 
I switched to Stripe years ago and never looked back - 1000x better than PayPal in every aspect and with an actual customer support.
P.S. Trying to delete your account with PayPal is a whole another level of nightmare with those guys. Having your account successfully deleted, even a completely unused one (no bank account or cards attached, no transactions ever, nothing), pretty much requires a miracle ...

•I've heard that phoning them and being persistent to get through to s human helps resolve most of the issues. But I hate paypal, too. Luckily, Europe finally started to work together to create an alternative.

•I'm so sorry. What payment platform are you thinking of switching to? I know a lot of creators use PayPal, but I think I've heard a little about Stripe (do not use either, so I cannot give advice)
