0VERTIME =]

I still vaguely remember seeing it in a dream... a grey city that was falling apart, and out of a big building, a giant n' suited crane man emerged. He would shout "OVERTIME!" while he would try to free himself from the chains he got himself into... his employees would beg him to rest and let things be, but he wouldn't forgive himself. He bit more than he could chew, I guess :7

Anyways, this was a poster idea I had for a loooong time! I never forgot this dream I had, and had the concept baked in my brain, just waiting to exist on a canvas :] It was also lowkey challenging because 1- Backgrounds, and 2- Grayscale palettes

I hope you enjoy how the whole atmosphere n' stylization turned out! I'm super duper proud of how the broken buildings ended up laid out, and how the composition came together ^^ It reminds me a bit of ruiiwo's aesthetic, which is a pretty happy accident too! I dig how she works out her art with the grayscales and the blend of lined and lineless~May 8, 2023

Damn my dreams are like about reading a horror novel and then midway through the guy writing the novel writes about drinking his friends piss and then I wake up I want cool dreams like this wtf...
