The Parol
My take on the #SubtleAsianArtPrompts for December Week 1 - "Holiday Traditions" and for @artfol prompt for December 1 - "Winter".No such thing as winter here in the Philippines, BUT we do start celebrating Christmas once September hits, so we break out the Christmas decorations.
One of the more traditional decorations is the Parol, which stands for the Star of Bethlehem that guided the Magi to the Baby Jesus.
No idea if people have made snow-themed parols here though.Dec 1, 2021
