So if you don't know, Instagram recently released a new app called Threads. It's basically Twitter with a few features connecting it to your Instagram account.
I left Twitter a few weeks ago because I was getting myself worked up over likes and followers. I also was disliking how obsessed I became in people's lives.
I got threads excited to maybe "get seen." But just scrolling through the feed brings flashbacks to Twitter and I just don't know if I want to use it.
It's Twitter in every sense of the word. You can make quick text like posts, reshare, like, etc and that's what upsets me. I have been using Artfol for small mini blogs like this and it feels better to just talk instead of trying to condense everything.
My decision for now is to only use Threads as like an update account for whatever I guess I release if I have anything. Otherwise I refuse to say silly things on there like I did on Twitter.Jul 13, 2023
