Underwater aesthetic

I’ve been in a pretty neon mood lately. With even my dreams looking like an eyestrain-ish cartoon, I had to make something equally intense to quench that thirst. I just hope nobody gets triggered by the raw colors...

I went for a pretty retro, and also graphic feel when painting this piece. Bright patterns and a limited color palette were my main tools to create this illustration, painted with my thumb in IbisPaint, and using only one layer!

And since Mermay is still here, I said: why not?
