My laptop's battery is completely fvcked. It's become worse and worse and now the laptop shuts off if I don't have the charger connected to it... I hope it doesn't die completely ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ
To change the battery I have to go to the nearest city, but I don't wanna do that rn cus the spread of infection is really high where I live
And I don't wanna change the battery myself cus it seems complicated and I'd probably just damage the laptopMar 12, 2021

if it's not a mac then it should be easy to change it! just check what its model is and if it's not too old it could be easy to find a replacement online. although if it's a more recent model you may have to do some unscrewing and unplugging that can feel(? scary, and the process may be different depending on the brand. but in general it's not complicated if the only thing damaged is the battery, it's actually one of the more simple computer parts to replace if u have the patience for it

•You might be able to find some YouTube videos for battery replacements of your specific laptop, that way you could see if doing it yourself if feasible! You could think about doing it yourself if the battery looks easy enough to get to and is cheap enough to buy, and if your laptop is no longer under warranty (doing it yourself will probably void any warranties)

•My old laptop did that and my current one has a really bad battery life of like 10 minutes, it all depends on if you have Mac or Windows, because for Windows all you gotta do remove the battery, check out the specifications and order a new one, however if you have Mac it gets a little more complicated you'd have to actually open up the laptop itself plus apples Habit of throwing glue everywhere doesn't help
