Pay What You Want Sketch for Türkiye/Syria

I am remaking this post as I think my previous sketch example was a bit meh. I’ve raised around £20 already so ty for the ones who supported!

Hi, as you may or may not have heard, there has been a series of big earthquakes (7.8) in my home country. Turkey/ Türkiye has a lot of earthquakes since its located by many fault lines but earthquakes in these strengths are rare. The earthquakes also have heavily affected Syria and Syrian refugees in Turkey as the earthquakes occurred very close to the border.

I donated to Oxfam UK’s Turkey/Syria Earthquake Campaign but I am also opening pay what you want (minimum £1) drawings to increase funds (which will be sent to to Oxfam).

You can either send payment to me or screenshot your donation directly to helping organisations. I’d try to donate directly to Turkish AFAD but they accept from limited countries, so I will personally be donating via Oxfam U.K.


(You can also donate without asking me for a drawing for an exchange but hey I get it, getting a cute doodle while helping out is a good deal!)

My close family and I do not live in Turkey and my extended family/friends live in the opposite side of the country, so no one I know has been directly affected as far as I know.


I’m just frustrated from the news, in addition to the fact I was already overwhelmed from uni work, so please have the patience with me if I’m slow with responding etc
