Honestly I’ve found that my friends kinda don’t care that I’m a furry- in fact one of my friends told me he was a furry too and paid me to design his sona!
Chances are your friends would be supportive (but idk them) because they care about you (and your part of the half of the community that isn’t… nuts)

I ain't even a furry but man it's annoying to hear about the hate from my one irl that's always so fucking awful. I used to be a pegasister in middle school but because I was a fair masculine looking kid I got grouped in with bronies. And when moved school you bet your teeth I never told a soul.
Like I get the hate people see the worst side of a group and think that's all it is. But so many furries try to distance themselves from certain actual gross people that world hurt animals. And it just sucks and reminds me that you're kind of just stuck.
I get it cuz I have similar experiences but not everyone has that ability to relate. It's very unfortunate

Those aren't your friends if you are harmless. If you were the type of furry to make NSFW then maybe. But considering yours is you like antros because they're cool, then fuck them they don't need to be your friends. I personally love how creative you are with your characters
