Does the simple background clash with the explosion? And do I have to add more detail to the fabric on her shirt? Thanks in advance! My shading will be softened later, after I make any changes you suggest, by the way.
I know her pose is stiff. In the story, that’s because she just regenerated after falling off a cliff. You would be stiff and sore too if you had to do that. Lol.Jun 4, 2021

Well art is subjective, but I think it does somewhat clash, also you might want to consider moving the explosition up slightly. Since the bottom of the explosion comes just as far down as the back of the character's boots, it appears that instead of a big explosion in the background, there is a very small explosion about an inch behind her. And if that's supposed to be how close it looks, maybe you could have the explosion give a dramatic lighting effect to the character to set the closeness more. Also, there are a lot of small changes you could make to the pose to let the viewer know that the character is sore and stiff, such as tilting the head, as if there's a knot in the muscle, or not extending the arm fully, to show that it's a little difficult to point. You can also, close one eye to show stress or pain or use the position of the tail to convey how she feels. Anyways, I hope any of that helps. Thanks for reading
