Mr. Murk at Different Age

Mr. Murk is a villain I wanted to make Gru fight against. Little did I know that the sequels were already in the making and I really had no place to go with my own ideas about "Despicable Me 2" Hated the sequels, by the way... All of them. Really, only the 1st movie in the series did have any sense (not counting the party ending. I hate those...). Anyway, here's Mr. Murk, and he was supposed to be this very menacing guy who's hired to kill Gru. By the time I drew this, I never written a criminal story before, so I dived deep into reading articles on criminal psychology (and more. I definitely overdone it). Learned a lot. About killers and serial killers. I know too much about them by now, I guess Still, I could do without, because Mr. Murk was a fairly simple character, yet his creation triggered something else in me... Probably also because I happened to be playing Persona 2 at the time. But while it all started with a silly fanproject, I very soon found myself fighting my own inner demons (because I, somehow, liked Mr. Murk too much and couldn't explain it). His personal story is that of a lonely child of the rich, who got all the wrong ideas about the world for the reason of being isolated from it most of his childhood. His mother died during WW2 and he ended up blaming his father for letting her go to Japan during those uneasy times. Blowing up the house where his father was many years later, was Mr. Murk's first ever murder, after which he continued hating the world and became a professional hitman. But the years were creeping upon him and soon Mr. Murk started thinking about how to delay the inevitable and become immortal. To get his answers, he hired a Japanese scientist (also a war criminal) to develop an immortality medicine for him. That medicine was invented, but it was unusual - the mutated bacterium colony that granted its host faster healing and nearly endless lifespan. But there was a caveat - whoever let this bacterium in would find it very difficult to die. Mr. Murk didn't know this before injecting this microcolony into his veins. His left hand mutated into a menacing clawed paw and he had to hide it under a glove (the immortality medicine was injected in his left wrist). After taking the medicine in, Mr. Murk stopped aging, but he never lost those wrinkles that were already present. His scientist tried to escape with the research results, but Murk shot him in the head. Grieving very little about the loss of a possible friend, Mr. Murk turned his eyes to other matters, and those were mainly turf wars in big business. Especially his war for resources with Seadog. The story goes on and on (but this description space is limited). Suffice to say, that Gru had to defeat Mr. Murk at some point, but I was too disappointed with the sequels to keep working on my version of the story.
