So you know how some people follow people and then unfollow them cos they were either expecting a follow back or likes and reshares?
Well, I just randomly imagined someone accidentally follows someone so then they unfollow them, but now they’re like “oh crap maybe I should just follow them anyway… but I don’t want to! I don’t really like their art all that much but I don’t wanna be rude……. Dang it I’ll just hope they don’t notice that I accidentally followed them… this is embarrassing…”

This happens to me sometimes 
especially on Instagram when my phone be lagging and I just panic like "oh no I didn't mean to follow this random stranger but now ive unfollowed them they probably think I'm a troll or a person wanting follows and aaaa"

OOF I felt this. Been in that position a few times before, particularly on twitter where it is SUPER easy to accidentally follow someone you intended to block or mute from your notif list
