so I need little bitty help on my story lmao
ig imma tell you what i need and what happens before that
i got only two characters so far but they're the main characters so they're the most important
Mark is the main main character and Ash is a secondary main character.
So mark is kind of a hero?? cause he's kinda fighting the bad guys but that's mainly because he's annoyed by them not because of some sense of justice
so then something happens to him like he gets injured or something (I accept suggestions for this part) and so Ash discovers what Mark does after school (they're in high school, 3rd or 4th year)
And then Ash kinda sticks to Mark idk why tell me why
yeah AND THEN SOMETHING BAD NEEDS TO HAPPEN IDK WHAT HELP ME LMAO
if you got any questions back at me feel free to ask lmao

The advice I would give is construct the characters more ( with archetype, backstory, values, etc) before continuing with what happens, that way the things that happens next will make sense with the main character and the rules of the world you're creating (other factor that makes the process of writing your story easier), seems like you also have an idea of the highs and lows you need wich is great even if it is vague, consider taking all of those ideas in a document you can go back into while making the next draft. What i mean by that is you can (for example) introduce the power of a certain villian and show it's lasting affects on Mark.
The 'Super bad thing' can be foreshadowed by Marks injury. Parhaps after the Villain's first encounter with Mark, they figuired out how to cause such injuries on a lot of people simultainlesly, or managed to 'Upgrade' their power. Whatever it is, it won’t seem like it came out of nowhere.
The reason why ash hangs around him has probably got to come from you, since i have no idea how the characters interact. However plot-wise, If Mark's injury can only be treated in a very specific way, you can give ash the ability to heal (or at least decrease) the injury's effects. That way she can be relevant once the 'super bad thing' happens, because she's one of the only people who might be able to stop it
