Birdtober Day 24: Limpkin

[Birdtober 24/31 - Free Choice] The Limpkin is the only extant species in its family, which is loosely related to rails and cranes. We had a Limpkin move in recently, but as soon as I grab my camera to take a photo, it flees. We've taken to referring to it as our local cryptid.Oct 24, 2022
