Under the shade
A black fox walked over to a man relaxing in the grass, the shade of the tree blocking out the sun. She lowered her head, looking to him and he smiled, bringing his hand up to scratch behind her ears. "Good girl," he cooed as she came to lie down, the other fox by his side opposite already asleep in the nice warm weather. Foxes were just so much better then people. They were sly and sneaky, and great hunters. Solo animals, much like he was. They were loyal too, if they liked you that is and it just so happened that his best friend was exactly that as she laid down beside him, resting her head on his chest. He couldn't believe it had been years already since he saved her and now look how big and comfortable she got."Alright," Gaelen murmured, flicking her ear a bit. "Just for a bit."
Nothing would be able to tear them apart.
