Hey yall! I just wanted to update ya on what I've been working on in terms of art... and it's all reference sheets. Hooray?
I'm making 3 ref sheets, one for Luther's official new ref (with slight pattern changes on his body), another for Ollie's small redesign (w/ new clothes and small pattern updates) and one for Perci's big redesign.
Perci's getting a big redesign for a few reasons. For one, his role in the story changed (he's being promoted promoted to commander of his own ship! Hooray for him!). However, that means his old clothing doesn't really fit the role. So, he's getting some new drip.
He's also changed a bit in personality, and I wanted to sharpen up some of his features in order to better represent that. I'm also fixing some problems I have with his current design.
I'm in the coloring/lineart phase for Luther's ref (even though I'm having a hard time making a good expression), already finished the still for Ollie, and Perci is still getting his redesign solidified (aka his sketch is done but I'm waiting to see if it'll stick).
You should expect to see Ollie's or Luther's first, but most likely Ollie's.
Also, update on school: it's still kicking my a$$, but not as much... I feel less overwhelmed and I'm starting to become more grounded and flow with what's going on better. Still doesn't mean that a few select classes still hate my guts though (Looking at you, Chemistry). I also have one of those classes that expects you to read from a textbook and learn all about it within a week... not fun. Either way, it's gotten a bit better.
