๐Ÿ‚The couple and their bookseller bestie ๐ŸŽƒ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿช๐Ÿฅ›

These characters are from one of the stories I'm working on ๐Ÿ‚
I made them and some others from the same story appear for the first time (except for Amore, the pink-haired one; you can find more about them in the previous artworks shared) in an animatic I made to celebrate fall (links below), and then I shared a bit about some of them with some sketches and studies like this one ๐Ÿ’•๐ŸŽƒ๐Ÿช๐Ÿ‚

The young bookseller (the pumpkin-head guy) is mute; he was born with a mouthless pumpkin head. He works full-time at the Antique Bookshop of the Arts (you can find more about It in the previous posts and the links below), where he loves to spend his days with other colleagues and friends who appear at the beginning of the animatic, helping him with customers and who will soon introduce themselves.
At a certain point in the day, a couple appears and soon heads to the cafeteria table, both dear friends who often visit him and always order hot milk and biscuits that Amore (the character with the flowing pink hair) loves.
Amore is an albino character born without arms, but this does not stop them from consistently winning the competition to see who finishes all the cookies first.
At her side is their best friend and partner.
Both decide to order, as always, hot milk, which he asks for out loud but makes spontaneously the sign with his hand, accustomed to speaking with other deaf and mute beings he knows.
In the sketch on the side, the bookseller goes back after forgetting to ask how big they want the drink to be, and you can see the sign for โ€œmediumโ€ that Amore then chooses.
The couple spends almost the entire afternoon in the bookstore, talking to their friend, to each other and eating cookies and milk until they say goodbye to their friend and head elsewhere.
Who is the one with Amore? And whyโ€ฆ
All I can add for the moment is that they are inseparable ๐Ÿ’•

They (like others who will come) were born during school hours.
I still remember that it was during an algebra lesson when I was still in high school. Autumn was coming, and only the idea made me feel good. Between notes and various numbers, I started sketching the first thing that came to mind when thinking about the season, and the first being I saw was a guy... with the head of a pumpkin (whose first sketch and name will be revealed soon). This might seem obvious to imagine, but it was just the beginning: he wasn't alone.

No matter how hard I tried, I couldnโ€™t connect with anything said in class. I needed to escape, even for a moment, to survive that hour (having to deal with C-PTSD and other things, sketching was among the only things that helped me). I started scribbling on the squares of those pages (the old drawing above), giving them a new life, at least in some parts, with entirely random characters destined to become more important than I could have ever imagined ๐ŸŽƒ๐Ÿ‚
